Involvement and Experiences
I was recently elected as the new Vice President of the Young Investors Club at UCF. I am excited to embrace this opportunity and continue my contribution to a bustling community of aspiring investors. In this pivotal role, I will guide the conversation on financial literacy, smart investing, and professionalism among 150+ club members. Thoroughly preparing ourselves for a successful future in the world of finance, we will cultivate a culture of learning and growth.
As the Academic Chair of Pi Delta Psi Fraternity, I played a pivotal role in fostering a culture of academic excellence among our members. This position involved organizing study sessions and implementing new study plan systems that promoted academic achievement. This role gave me strong leadership and communication skills in a supportive environment that encourages personal growth, accountability, and time management.
Being an active tutor and member of the event team for Coach Kelly LIVE, I have been able to share my love for learning with members of the community. In this role, I guide students through academic challenges and act as a trusted mentor to many. In addition, I travel to Orange County Public Schools to showcase the transformative power of our tutoring services to potential clients. This experience allows me to connect with diverse learners, tailor my approach to their individual needs, and play a crucial role in promoting a service dedicated to unlocking potential and fostering a love for learning.
As a Peer Academic Advisor for the Office of Professional Development, I have been given the privilege of serving my fellow students as a leader, mentor, and guiding force. My duties of ensuring student success through schedule plans, major recommendations, and relationship management fill me with purpose and fortify my love for helping others. I work alongside only 3 other students who exemplify the elite status of the UCF College of Business and who are capable of guiding their peers in times of uncertainty, distress, or confusion. This position gives me invaluable experience in client relationships, professional advisory, and peer accountability.

As a student at the University of Central Florida, I am pursuing a major in Finance, complemented by a minor in Actuarial Science.
Driven by a passion for these fields and a desire to constantly learn, I have taken the initiative to accelerate my graduation by completing College-Level Examination Program (CLEP) exams. This strategic approach allows me to earn equivalent college credit in select courses, freeing up my schedule for extracurricular activities and hands-on projects. These studies deepen my understanding of the relationship between statistical theory and risk management, while preparing me for a competitive landscape in the data-driven world of finance.
The Flatiron School
My time as a student at Flatiron School has been an invaluable experience. As a premier coding bootcamp, Flatiron offers a diverse range of courses tailored to meet the demands of the technology industry. I am enrolled in the Data Science program. I intentionally chose this curriculum while considering my studies at UCF. This combination allows me to bridge theoretical knowledge with practical skills.
Studying data science has sharpened my proficiency in relevant tools, like Python, SQL, Tableau, and machine learning. These skills prepare me for a competitive career in tech, fostering my growth as an aspiring data professional.
